2025-06-27 19:29:15 GMT rwsadmin 2025-06-26 09:00:00 GMT (TGU, MB) took down antenna to troubleshoot problem with loop 2, the cable at back of receiver read OL, a measurement from the inner mast cable up to the dome also read OL, however when dome was detached the resistance reading was 2984 ohms, the inner cable as well as the cable from the mast to the equipment trailer tested out okay with a 50 ohm resistor so we were unable to pinpoint the issue, all connectors and connections looked okay as we were disconnecting them, we tested the loop2 cable at the back of the receiver again once we had hooked it all back up again and the reading there was good, however the site remains offline for now, due to dangerously hot working conditions we could not raise the mast, the gin pole system could potentially work in the future, however the area the pole would need to use is covered in poison ivy, there was also a wasp nest with half a dozen wasps on the underside of the hinge platform that should be removed before we raise it
